Fishkill, NY: Today, Afghanistan & Iraq Veterans for Congress (AIVC) announced a fundraising reception with former Secretary of Defense the Honorable Donald Rumsfeld. The event is in support of Congressional Candidate and two-war Marine Ilario Pantano (R-NC).

The reception will be held April 16 from 5-7 pm at the Capitol Hill Club 300 First St. SE, Washington, DC.

Attendance to the private event starts at $250 per individual with Hosting and Sponsorship opportunities available.

Unemployment among veterans who enlisted post 9/11 is fifty percent higher than the national jobless rate.  Worse, those veterans of the combat arms who did the actual fighting have an even harder time getting work than their peers who served in support roles.  The skills that are most crucial to winning battles have no civilian equivalent.
